Popcorn starts out as a popcorn kernel on, you guessed it, corn. However, not all types or corn yield popcorn. Popcorn is said to have been discovered by Native Americans and has grown in popularity since then. Popcorn became especially popular in times when people had very little money because popcorn is so cheap and readily available.
Popcorn has lots of fiber and contains very little sugar and has very few calories. If you don't like the taste of plain popcorn you can add a little flavor by giving it a coating or mixing it up a bit with other things.
Pop corn is essentially the samething as popcorn except that it is spelled different. There is a chance, however, that there is a regional difference. That is to say that pop corn could be a nick name for a different type or style of popcorn in different areas of the country or world. You can still do the same thing with pop corn as you can do with popcorn .
