A popcorn ball is a very simple thing. The basic idea is to get the popcorn into a ball shape and get it to stick without damaging the popcorn in any way, this include getting it wet. At the same time you don't want the thing holding it together to be too the whole thing. Otherwise there is no point in having the popcorn.
Popcorn balls are the perfect way to celebrate the holidays. It takes basic popcorn and it actually manages to make it a bit more convenient. You may flavor the ball according to your taste, but remember to not get anything too wet in contact with the popcorn or it will start too disintegrated. Peanut butter and other things that can be used as a dipping sauce for popcorn tasting things would probably work very well for popcorn balls.
