Popcorn butter! That has got to be one of everyone's all time favorite smells and tastes in the world. Popcorn butter, believe it or not can vary in taste. Some butter has a more watery greasy look to them. This butter is the butter you might see at a movie theater. This better may be greasier because that oil allows it to dissolve less into the popcorn, which means less will go farther and that it will not ruin the popcorn.
The liquidity of the butter does not necessarily mean it will have fewer flavors. In fact you might find it to be the opposite. It all depends on what is in the butter or what kind of butter it is. There are many kinds of butter. sometimes the butter may have an extra ingredient or two to lower the melting point so that is stays a liquid and is thus easier to dispense and will save time and energy.
The flavor of the butter can also be altered aside from these melting point lowering ingredients. For example, you can have butter that is made out of vegetable oil and all organic plants. Then, as an alternative, you have butter that is produced from animal milk. This is not the normal milk you find in the grocery store. That will not make popcorn butter. To make the popcorn butter the milk must have the cream in it. The cream is then churned into butter. It is fattier than your store bought milk products, but it definitely has more flavors to it. It is also richer and thicker.
The butter itself can also have salt and on a completely different note, you can even have powdered butter or artificial butter. Some of these butters have been linked to lung cancer, but that is mainly in the more commercial end and it is normally if you are exposed to large quantities of it for a prolonged period of time. That is all being changed though. So you needn't worry too much about the butter.
